Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I noticed the video clip they showed when Bendter was coming on had Nasri congratulating him, I guess they didn't have more recent clips.

Bendter needs to do alot to prove to a club that he is worth giving a contract to after this season, as even if Arsenal don't sign him he will want to play some where.

although only a brief appearance yesterday I thought Bendy showed how well he uses the ball,he doesn't panic and hes not rash,he could have easily lashed at it but instead looked up crossed to Rambo who knocked it down for ozil,ok not exactly world class stuff but remember he did set up our goal in the whatever its called cup too with a slide rule pass.Bendy with a run will get better,im sure he'd be as good as Giroud given a decent run with no pressure like Giroud was given.

Looked quite sharp for the short time he was on the pitch yesterday, his goals for denmark might have given him some confidence. I know people say he always has confidence but that's bollocks imo, some people just like to hide it by overcompensating

As three yard passes to unmarked players while under no pressure go, it was without fault.
He was also on the pitch when another goal was scored, so I suppose he's doing OK.

He's at least looking motivated, I'll give him that.

He's looking two stone overweight and two yards short of pace, though his new beard ponytail combo could well get him an audition for Game of Thrones.

That applause wasn't mock applause, it was a heartfelt appreciation from the supporters who appreciate the sacrifices that Nicklas has made not only for Arsenal but for humanity. He's been quite good in his brief cameos thus far, before long he'll take centre stage. Abou, like the rest of us mortals, shall watch from the sidelines and wish he was half the footballer that Nicklas Bendtner is.
