It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Are you not forgetting park last season who was on his way to i think it was lille in france and all of a sudden he turned up at Colney instead
Yes and we saw how well that worked out, what back end of beyond have we shipped him off to

The footballing giants of Celta Vigo
A master-stroke masterclass from Wenger who is now so desperate he is opening the door to a Fabregas return, bloody pathetic bastard

Some of the stuff he's coming out with over the past few days is really bizarre, even by his standards. It's like all these random thoughts that are just about vaguely related to football or ex-players are coming into his head & he's trying to articulate them in press conferences.
A lot of irrelevant shite goes through my brain most of the time but I try to keep it to myself for fear of looking absolutely mental. It seems like Wenger's not too fussed though

I remember back in the first year or two of wenger's reign, we were interested in signing ronald de boer but ajax wouldnt sell so the player either went on strike to force the move or was going to go legal to get his move (cant remember which ) - once that happened wenger backed away and didnt want to sign a player like that

Ah,back in the day when we were winning titles and trophies. OH HOW THE ONCE MIGHTY HAS FALLEN, LET'S HOPE THE CLOWN PRINCE FALLS ON HIS SWORD SOONER THAN LATER.

This is extremely funny...
...so much more so because it is actually true. I urge us to somehow embrace the madness and to keep sacrificing the goats.
* Edit: Oh and buying some fcuking players for the love of Christ.
It's a new desperation from Wenger. He knows there are no signings in the pipeline, there never were, 'Project Profit' is in full swing and does not allow for any more signings until the next big name is sold and we can sign another Ligue 1 one season wonder. So in the meantime, Wenger tries to keep the sheep onside by saying how he thinks Cesc is going to come 'home'. He can't use Henry anymore because he is past it as a player so now he uses Cesc.
It's so so desperate and a real shame that this sad old man has fallen to such a level where he lies compulsively and embarrasses himself on a daily basis. Surely he has a good friend somewhere that should be giving him advice?
But then again, I suppose Wenger doesn't listen to anyone so what good would that do?!!

...and maybe we've found just the man !
Arsenal are lining up Toulouse defender Serge Aurier to replace Bacary Sagna at right-back.
The People
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has lined up Toulouse defender Serge Aurier, 20, to step into Bacary Sagna’s right-back slot, writes the Sunday People.
Aurier was born in the Ivory Coast and, like his brother Christopher, who plays for Lens, has French citizenship, but has not yet committed himself on the international stage
