Believe it when I see it - if reports are true then we have first dibs on buying cesc so if wenger turns down that chance then I think the concrete bowl will be burnt to the ground and rightfully so too. I too am far from convinced that Higüain is a good enough player.

Do we really have "first refusal" on Cesc? If so, and he ends up at Manure this summer, than Arsene really truly would need a good kick in the bollocks. The RVJC debacle was bad enough - but to compound it a year later by not re-signing Cesc?

First refusals mean nothing ,its the last refusal u want in trade buit anyway in Football unlike Baseball it's still the players choice !
Our only leverage is that Barca probably haven't paid more than 50 pct of his fee so could insist it bieng paid in full before he jogs on !

As I understand it, 'first refusal' means that if Barca accept an offer from another club for Cesc they then have to accept the same (or a seperately negoitiated lower offer) from us. It only binds the club, not the player, so if Cesc wants to go to Manure he can.

Schuerlle is a very good and fast wing player. He likes to play on the left wing and to attack with speed. Also he could play the central attacking position. He had an average season at Bayer Leverkusen but I think he can be a weapon within the right squad.

also German reports do not confirm a tranfer from Schuerlle to Chelsea. It looks like Mou has a second view on him

Cesc is my favorite player and has been for about 8 years now. I honestly believe that he would not join Man United. However, if he did it would be the worst betrayal I could remember and I would burn his fucking jersey.
