The Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It is 3ft x 2ft and is pictured in my avatar. I am in block 6 near to block 5.

I don't generally do away games due to lack of credits but if someone wants to borrow it for the away games thats fine.
I want the man gone but i think the time to unfurl the banners is at the Villagame during the walk of shame. If the banners are unfurled at random times and confiscated one by one then the media and Silent Stan will believe it is a small group. If it is organised so 30 banners are unfurled around the game at the same time then they cannot ignore the groundswell of opinion.

Just my opinion but how could Wenger ignore the banners during his walk of shame after the last game??

I know 4 PL wins in over 4 months is resulting in people wanting to do something now but I do think it should be a co-ordinated effort.

the Villa game is not live on TV
It will get minimal attention - any banner waving at that game will be just forgotten about over the summer

As it's obvious nobody is going to have the balls to sack him and it's going to be up to him when he leaves, the pressure now needs to be put on him every game until the end of the season. He needs to be left in no doubt that the majority of supporters want a change and he is no longer wanted at the club. Then...maybe...just maybe....he'll get the message and leave at the end of the season. If it's just left until the villa match...it could be too late and a nice shiny new contract could have already been signed.
A few weeks ago I was convinced he would leave at the end of this season, but recently I've had a horrible feeling a new contract will be signed....and that's one thing that can't be allowed to happen. I hate the thought of writing off next season already, but sadly enough, if he announces he will be leaving at the end of this contract....I'd take that now. At least the end will.be in sight.

The banners need to be shown at every game from now on, and especially ones that are on Sky etc

Armchair, to his credit, has been drumming up support for banners since 2012 to my knowledge.
It takes some guts to take on the AKB'S, who outnumber the WOB'S imo.
We need Herd, and his support to get them displayed, without it going stupid.
Over to you Herd.

Imagine how that guy must be feeling - From actually thinking and believing we could/would win the prem - to reality hitting bang smack on - 'We're fucked' - That's how most of us have been feeling for the past 8 seasons....

We truly are 'fuck-ed' till clueless is replaced.

I sent you a PM but I don't know if it went through as it says it is in the outbox rather than sent. :(

Outboxed until read by recipient, if memory serves.

In a few months it's gone from talk of "The Banner" (singular) and how difficult it is to even display it at a home match, to tonight vs West Brom where there seemed to be dozens all over both tiers, the cameras didn't have to look far.

So what's changed?
