The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We should have pulled the plug when he didn't confirm his decision yesterday, if he has snubbed us then it is a complete humiliation for both the club and Wenker. I don't believe that there is any knobbling of transfers taking place here, just plain old simple incompetence from the usual suspects.
We are a fucking joke of a club.

it looks like we have been snubbed by a 29 year old, former non league player at Leicester City

watch the Arsenal PR machine spring into action when Giroud scores a couple of goals v Romania on Friday night :D

If he was joining us, it would have happened by now. There's no way interest would have been made public without the thought that he was going to join. Something has happened and it's probably Leicester offering him a massive pay-rise and he's opted to stay. Fair play to him, who would want to play for Wanker anyway? I actually hope he has turned us down, just to sit and watch Wanker manage to fuck up another transfer window by not buying a striker. What's the odds though, that if he does, it will be a completely different type to Vardy?

I don't understand the twitter meltdown regarding the Vardy pic. To me, that is total PR. He is on his way. Andy King's comments are more poignant about being able to deal with Vardys departure.

I think that is likely agent talk and Arsenal allowing time for Leicester to find a replacement. There is nothing to be gained to announce it now or before this artificial deadline the media have invented.

So a non football-watching Australian :censored: at work asked me about the Vardy 'signing' after seeing it in the paper this morning -

Me: Just shows how far we've fallen when a player at Leicester fucking City is mulling over a move to Arsenal

C()nto: They've won the fackin league mate, you c()nts ain't won it for about 20 years!

Just thought I'd share this gem - even among people who don't even watch football we're a fucking joke and a laughing stock :banghead:

Agree Sid, if he is dithering about joining then there must be some no-mark from France who we can stick on £40,000 a week and say I'm sorry he didn't cost £20m.

Hopefully better news from Armenia in the near future :barscarf:

That load of Ganja due to arrive then is it mate!? :D

I just think it's a sign of the times all round that JV is considering the offer made by AFC. There was a day when The Arsenal was enough

Yup! And there is one person and One Person Alone responsible for that - WENGER.

He plays every game at and Leicester, at Arsenal Wonga will rotate him with his love child Giroud. Arsenal football club have a 'pull' but nothing like it used to be, we are just an average 'big' club now with little ambition. The whole Vardy thing is looking more like a farce every day and like others have said, we'll probably end up with Giroud and Wally up front again and Wonga will say 'we tried but no-one else was available'.

All Wenger's doing - Not only do we pussy foot around on the pitch but we do so off it - Wenger should show some balls and if Vardy is 'mulling it over' pull the plug on the deal and make it public 'we do not wait for any player to choose us WE choose the player'...But naaah wenger the spinelesstwat will play softly softly - tippy-tappy with vardy's agent and the media...FFS Get some Balls Wenger you utter cun.t.

Saw this on a Stoke forum:

He's been offered a chance to go to one of the biggest clubs in Europe with CL football year after year. Oh and pocket 120 grand a week. And live in London.

From non-League to Arsenal. Only a colossal bottler would pass that up
