Fucking shit. The end.
i was really looking forward to Ted, they badly overhyped it. I could have dealt with the predictable script if it had more than a handful of funny moments. not sure if it was a crap comedy or a crap romcom

I didn't laugh once. I was falling asleep halfway through. Obviously the 10 pints of Guinness consumed earlier in the day, followed by a 12 inch pizza didn't help.
But yeah, it is one steaming pile of horse shit.
I have snapped the disc in half.
I like it

was watchable i suppose, i'm not one who has unrealistic expectations that every film is going to be amazing but it was a bit overhyped i think, didnt live up to its billing

Funnily enough I watched it yesterday, and it was nowhere near as funny as has been hyped up.
Might as well have been a documentary about Nookie the Bear.
Only saving grace was Mila Kunis (which quite interestingly is an anagram of I milk anus ) but even her sultry dark looks were not enough to save it. Flash Gordon has let himself go a bit too.

To be honest, the DVD only cost me the price of a pint from the dodgy bloke in the pub. Lucky lucky

Silver Linings Playbook
The missus will love it. An Inspiring, sad, uplifting rom-com all at the same time. Bradley Cooper plays a great role as a man who is suffering mental health problems after finding his wife in the shower with another man. Oops! His father, Robert De Niro, actually plays a great part as his father. There's a shock - De Niro in a good film.
It is a bit long (just over two hours) and is a bit girly, I suppose. But as a bit of a poofhouse, I quite enjoyed it.
9/10

Oz - The Great and Powerful
6/10
went with the mrs as it was her birthday yesterday...was OK I suppose. mila kunis and michelle williams were enough to keep me entertained at least for a while. very good visuals. it's actually a prequel to the wizard of oz...watchable, although i'm not sure it would keep the kids' interest.

the avengers series continues
Thor
7/10
a decent watch, a lot better plot than I thought it would be to be honest but then again I wasn't expecting much. good to see Idris Elba pop up in the film as the gatekeeper as well!

think i've now exhausted my superhero films
Captain America - The First Avenger
7/10
another solid watch. really good how all the individual films link up to The Avengers (Avengers Assemble here). decent plot again, The Red Skull is a good villain bearing in mind the film is set around the time of the Nazis. not sure which I prefer of this and thor.
onto Django Unchained shortly unless you want me to put a review of The Spongebob Squarepants movie I watched last weekend with the lil'un?

Thought "Ted" was funny. Not as funny as I expected but Ted's actual dialogue was the best bit.
Reminded me of the legendary Bronx Bunny. He was fucking awesome ya cock choking fuckbags!

Not sure you've got the hang of ratings, mate!
