Lads, seriously - does anyone REALLY believe Cesc would turn down Manure out of "love" for The Arsenal? Really?

Even as king of the realists, I will say that I believe 100% that cesc would sign for us ahead of manure - my only opt out on that belief is if the king of c**ts turns around and says that he doesnt want to re-sign our best player in the last 6 years

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
What about if its announced on the same day as Lord Wenger's new 3 year contract and Ivan's £1m bonus ?rodders999 wrote:If Cesc goes to United I'm done with football.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
I don't think Cesc would ever have left us to join Manure directly, but via Barca I think he might consider it. Having said that, he clearly wants to stay at his hometown club which he's supported for his whole life and I think he will.
Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
More questions than comments -
What contract length has Theo got - very short i hope as he only has a go when he's renegotiating. Is the Napoli rumour a possibility?
What is Kaka's situation? Maybe his star could be resurrected.
Cesc ain't going anywhere by the way UNLESS and here's a theory....... Arsenal agrees to let Cesc go to United subject to Rooney coming to us. All we need is Song, Clichy and Nasri to go to United and them win a title and the Wenger haters will have their proof. It is interesting that all of these players left and won a title in their first season with another club (throw in Cesc and RVP as well).
I still think we need a murderous DM......someone a little bit loopy.....

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
I've heard Moyes is in for a move on Franny Jeffers because they like talking scouse, we should get him first to discombobulate United. I know for a fact Franny has never been the same player since i spilled beer on him as he walked out to play (accidentally). He's still 5'9" so probably a bit tall for Arsenal these days.

No, a couple of points in the first post were genuine and the second one was just amusing myself after is saw Franny on Soccer AM recently and i remembered spilling a beer on him whilst getting him to sign the Arsenal Southampton FA Cup final programme as he ran out for his debut for the Newcastle Jets.
If i'd posted 10 hours ago the answer however would have been yes. So are you a committed Perth Glory fan now???

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Cheers mate.
Perth glory? Sounds a bit like a netball team name.
I reckon I will go to a few Eagles games after last weekends win mate.
Shame about old Franny. Fox in the box, that never was unfortunately.
I am a believer of Cesc returning to us, one day.
Am reading that Serie A clubs are chasing Mannone sig today.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
The A-League is actually quite good. You should check it out. We've got Heskey and Michael Bridges over here n Newcastle at the moment - both getting on but the rest of our squad are about 7 years old. Heskey scored heaps last year in a rubbish side.Top Londoner wrote:Cheers mate.

Yeah i think Cesc may return but maybe a la Thierry Henry. I honestly think Cesc is overrated and just stood out in a mediocre squad.
Mannone is an interesting looking chap - I'll give him that. Italy would be good for him......
