his new deal was 55k a week or 14.3million over the five years (same as denilson, eboue and djourou), over 9 years he has cost the club ball park 20 million in wages plus several billion in medical expenses.

this is why the 'stadium/finances' AKB argument about 2006 to 2012 is such utter utter bollocks - from the clubs reports it was worked out that denilson, diaby, bentdner, djourou, song and eboue cost us around 129 million quid in wages and bonuses.

basically we bought crap and wengers socialist wage policy was to pay them 55k or in Song and Bendtners case - 70k a week - a 21 yr old walcott was given 85k - or 22million, for which we have had ONE season of end product.

our youth and scouting policy is pants - hence our U21's are in Division 2......

It was badly spent by Wenger on unjustified unearned stupidly high wages for shit/average/underperforming players because he persisted with his egomaniacal Project.
