I still think it's a decent signing, 12 mil and a relatively short term contract, experienced player, it could just prove to be a very astute transfer.

Did you say the same when we signed will i am ? Or maybe when we signed sideshow bob ? Or maybe when we signed helmet head ?? :banghead: :banghead:
I can't remember that far back
If I'm going senile, then I'd live to hear your "reasoning" for claiming you'd rather see Ben White in midfield ahead of a proven International and plge midfielder!
Augie you are more twisted and bitter than a corkscrew

Sid would you not agree that our game is based on intensity, pace and energy ? Jorginho has NONE of those traits these days. All very well Stuart putting a clip from two years ago, but the reality is that we have bought the 31 year old jorginho and not the 29 year old version. As Steve O says, he's not good enough for midtable shite but good enough for a title challenger - how the fcuk does that add up ?
Augie!
Obviously the younger version would have been preferable, however! This is the January window, bad luck with a few injuries has forced us into some unplanned signings.
Whilst Jorginho's game might not fit exactly our current style, but as the season goes on if we're still top and games get tighter, with teams in trouble shutting up shop, teams in contention taking a more cagey approach and add to that, our young squad maybe feeling the pressure and legs becoming tired.
That's when an experienced player like Jorginho could prove very important.
No one is saying he will lead us to the title, as for him being part of a midtable chav team? That's not down to him, as for their willingness to let him go?
The chavs are throwing money about like it grows on trees, they need to offset some of that spending with their dealings already the subject of uefa rule reforms.
Augie! We are in unfathomable position in the league, Jorginho's signing won't win or cost us the title, just like no single player will, but it might play a small part on us being crowned champions, which the next 3 games will probably decide.

And what's this fucking shite, with reports on women's "football" transfers running alongside the transfer window? :cussing:
Bobby disappointed you not keeping us up to date in the really important transfers!!

In Bobby we trust!
Don’t know anything about the women. Don’t think they train at Colney.

At the end of the day, our midfield depth is better than when the day started.
This month we've got in cover on the wing, cover at LCB and cover in midfield.
ESR on the way back, Jesus on the way back.
I think we've done the right thing in getting cover this month. Partey still starts ahead of Jorginho.

Because Jorginho is better than Sambi.

How ? We signed a midfielder and sent sambi to palace on loan, so numbers wise it is very much as you were, and that is that if we have one injury in that position we is fcuked

I would say that is questionable mainly cos I think sambi's energy would help the team more, but anyway what you said was that our midfield depth is better not our quality, and depth is all about numbers

Not exactly. We've now got a better back up for injury.
And Sambi needs that running energy because he's so often in the wrong place to start with.

Couldn't afford caicedo as we spunked all out money on the women's record signing...what a facking joke!!!
No Brighton refused to let him go!
Honestly the fucking negativity and utter bullshit on this thread today is embarrassing
Exactly, see some posters have come out of the wilderness just to moan because when we have been doing so well they've had fuck all to say.

Embarrassing really, unless their predictions of doom and gloom don't come to fruition they are not happy, they'd rather see us fail and say I told you so

Just watched Jorginho's first Arsenal interview, seems very intelligent multi lingual and I think we've got ourselves a bargain for 12 mil!

On a side note, spurs were letting Matt Doherty go on loan to Athletico Madrid till the end of the season ,and then realised they were at their loan limit ,so had to terminate his contract to make the move go through

We've been signing Chavski Nazi secret agents since Gallas FFS! :cussing:

My young lad reckons he used to be world player of the year, a while back, so it looks The Chavs have decided to offload a 31 year old has been, who has recently rapidy lost his form.

I was hoping we would have sussed this out by now, maybe I'm wrong but we have signed some right shite over the last 2 decades from The Fulham Broadway Nazi scum! :banghead: :banghead: :cussing:

I fecking hate The Chav Nazi scum Slava UkraIne! Feck Putin! :box: :cussing:
