THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've hoped it would be for about the last six or seseven seasons. We need to make sure this is his last. Protests, banners, signs, whatever. He needs hounding out.

Another awesome record set by our beloved leader:

Mark Hughes recent home record vs Arsenal

Played: 7

Won: 5

Drawn: 2

Lost: 0

Mark Hughes has beaten Arsenal with four different clubs.

The criticism against Wenger was that he left Chambers on when he was having a bad game, now you criticse Wenger for substituting Bellerin for presumably the same reason.

Out of the two options I would rather a young player be subbed at half time than go on and keep getting beaten by the opposition wide man, though I thought Bellerin got forward fairly well today.

There are many reasons to criticise Wenger, but he appeared to have learned that lesson today.

Bellerin wasn't playing bad though was he. For me he always defaults to the easy option on subs - maybe its coz he was the youngest, after all he subbed The Ox in midweek when he was doing fine and left far worse players on the pitch :?:

He has destroyed Chambers in less than 6 months. He is fucking poison. Calum started off as a very promising signing, then he stagnated and now he has regressed beyond belief by being mismanaged and coached to shit by L'Asshole. Wenger needs to be hounded out, he is a poison slowly killing the club week by week.

That is why I wrote "Presumably" and "Bellerin got forward fairly well today."

He made a mistake for the goal, but otherwise was not destroyed in the way Chambers was the other week.

As one of the most anti Wenger posters on here you might find it odd to hear me say the following. The biggest problem at Arsenal Football Club is NOT the manager. It's not Gazidis or Kroenke or Usmanov or Steve Bould. It's not the media or the bloggers or referees or bad luck or injuries.

The biggest problem at Arsenal is the fans. The fans who back a manager who is single handedly destroying the club. The fans who despite shit fest after shit fest can see no wrong in what he does. Until there is a concerted effort by the majority of the fanbase to rid this great club of its manager then we deserve nothing more than we get. Football may me a billion pound industry these days but one thing remains the same from the days a player would earn 50 quid a week and that is that if a manager loses the fans he loses his job.

BOOM and the truth is out. Our fans and Wenker deserve each other: weak, spineless, happy to tolerate mediocrity and full of excuses. Make no mistake, no matter how bad we slate the Mousers they were in a shoddy situation with a pair of owners just as ruthless and inept as Kroenke. Pool had two of these fuckers to drive out, and their fans didn't stand around holding each other's dicks claiming "what can we do". They drove them both out, 2 Yank vultures no different to Kroenke. When Hodgson started turning in Wenker-esque shite, he was bombed out when les than 8,000 turned up to watch them at home to Wolves. Message given loud and clear and Pool's new Yank owners fired him on the spot, by email, same night.
Look at Moyes at ManYoo? How long was it before banners and fan discontent simmered? How long have we put up with idiot ManYoo fans dictating to us "show patience" in Wenker? Well they would bloody say that wouldn't they! The minute the show was on the other foot, they mobilised and Moyes didn't even get more than a year. Despite being unbeaten against Wenker.
Chelski well we all know how their fans reacted to Avram Grant and even WC winner Scolari was booted out despite having more points than Le Twat at this stage. Those are supposed to be our rivals.

Now just look at our joke club. TEN YEARS this shit has carried on and wave after wave of pisstaking ST renewals will continue.
Kroenke keeps hiking the prices as he knows our fans are spineless. If our fans had half the backbone of Pool or *spit* Yernited fans, Wenker would have been history in 2009. Arsenal are NOT the first club to have a greedy profiteering leech as an owner - but we ARE the first to continue paying more and more money to be wanked on by Kroenke and the manager.
The fucking cheek of Wenker saying of his contract renewal over summer "I agreed to stay here" like the dick was doing us a favour?!
It gets worse still. He abuses fans with "haven't worked half a day". He pushes it even further with the Diaby contract chat. He takes the piss by flying to Rome on deadline day. He starts the season with less defenders than bankrupt Blackpool. And why does he do all this? Simple: he doesn't fear consequences. Our fans are pussies on the whole like that vaginal puss-juice Arse-logger. Excuses for everything. Zero pressure. I was honestly AMAZED fans weren't furious at the way he just chucked the title in 2008 by not strengthening in Jan. We were 5 pts clear with about 3 months to go and finished fucking 3rd was it. Was ours to lose.

We go to OT and lose 8-2. Your car would be burnt down for that at a big club. At OT? We had the spectre of those tards hinging up them banners. The 4-4 at Newcastle what happened? Our silly fans blamed Phil Dowd! I mean it had NEVER happened a team had chucked a 4-goal advantage...so we blame Dowd! Remember losing 3-2 at home to Spuds or worse, that 4-4 when we chucked a 4-2 lead in the 90th minute? This shit has been going on for a DECADE. It's taken TEN YEARS of shite and humiliation for ONE banner to be shown. Seriously

So if Le Twat got off scot-free for 10 years, can you see his thinking that he can easily ride out another 2 and a half years? He doesn't take our fans seriously, which explains why the banner made him so angry. The banner was a positive step at WBA. Couple of scraped 1-0 against average teams and suddenly, no sign of the banner at Stoke.
No wonder Le Wankstain shrugs it all off.

Said the same thing myself the other day - in fact I think I actually said that a few years ago and suggested that we are getting what we deserve. If we settle for mediocrity then that is what we will always have
