No one made him sign for Chelsea for whatever reason we said no for. There are a number of possibilities as to why we said no, one being he pissed a lot of people off at Arsenal for the way he forced a move to Barca. he didnt screw us. he spent years carrying us. he left for his team. the best team in the world at that time. he owed us nothing. why we expect top class players to waste their careers under the latter day wenger is beyond me. why begrudge him the chance to win trophies at the club he supported as a kid rather than stay and chase 4th at arsenal for ever more?
realistically he was forced out of chelsea, and when we turned him down he had little choice.
I don't begrudge anyone anything they don't earn. Cesc was a very good player for us but he forced the move, he was club captain and he could of been much more diplomatic about it.
He wasn't forced to go to Chelsea at all, he stated he had other offers, if you didn't have any you wouldn't mention it . Furthermore, he could of actually stuck to his guns and fought for his place at his boyhood club. A club he spent so hard to move to. That's what I would do. Earn my place, earn the respect etc. It wasn't a case of its Chelsea or retire.
Anyway, regardless of how you or I feel about Cesc I still want to know why any negative opinion of Cesc is considered moronic?

Agreed. I know people got pissed off with him leaving, to me it was understandable but could probably have been handled better...and once we've turned down re signing him he doesn't owe us anything and is entitled to do what's best for him, his family and his career.

If you bothered reading his statement you'll notice that he said he had other offers but picked the fucking chav scum.
As for Barcelona being 'his team'.......why on god's green earth did he leave his beloved team to join us in the first place then? And why did he leave them now to join a club managed by Mourinho (a man hated by everyone connected to Barcelona - 'his team')?

We will buy an average player or 2 and possibly 1 top player. That top player will be played out of position and the other 2 will do whatever for a few years, we will have a great start to season , everyone tossing off to only end up throwing everything and the kitchen sink out the pram at the end.
