Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Real also have a young English lad I quite like.

We could have had Ancelotti as manager in 2019

You pair are not implying that he is better than one trophy Arteta are you?

Calm down lads or Wilson's head will explode.

Fuck trophies, what's Ancelotti's out of possession stats like huh? HUH?! That's how the truly elite managers are measured!

The time to hire Ancelotti was in 2011 when Chelsea stupidly sacked him. I was screaming for us to sack Wenger (it was, by that time, beyond doubt to anyone with even half a brain, that the old Fraud was washed up) and get Ancelotti in.

Sadly, most of our supporters were still ardent AKB’s and we were stuck with Il Duce for years to come. Oh well.

I was saying/hoping we’d make the smart choice and go and get him when either Wenger or Emery were sacked.

Ref was a disgrace for a while last night - reacting like a total w*nk*r when any player should any dissatisfaction with one of his decisions and straight away booking them, but yet took no action (bar giving the actual free kick) when cynical fouls were going on every two minutes   ef was an arrogant cock imo

Camavinga showed last night exactly why he was the midfielder that I championed on here so much last summer when we could and absolutely should have bought him - positionally he was excellent and breaking up dortmund attacks, and he used the ball very well and even got forward to set up a glorious chance that bellingham should have scored from.  Footie fans in england swallow all the hype about the premier league and its clubs, but there is no way that citeeh are as good as that madrid team, and the worry is that if they get mbappe this week as expected, then they will be set up to dominate for years - just look at the list of young talented players they have (camavinga, Tchouameni, valverde, bellingham, rodrygo and of course mbappe), and honest to god it scres the shit out of me

Doesn't particularly worry me , I want to win our league first and if we can use Europe as a cash cow , all the better.

And while Cheaty are and continue to be Cheaty, there is as much chance of us winning the league as there is a chicken growing from my left buttock.

Agreed. Madrid don't really impact us. We are miles off even getting near the CL final, never mind winning it. :|

True. About Cheaty, I mean. The left buttock? Probably true?
