Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well I watch them every week and our performances are getting worse by the season!! Slow and ponderous are two words for it!!
I fail to see what that has to do with my point. I said people rave on about our football, its very different as we see them every week butto people on a highlights package we're amazing.
... and I said that people no longer, 'rave' about our football, because it's poor, predictable fair at the moment, you may well have been correct a few seasons back though. (highlight packages can make the worse team in the whole world look good)

''everything depends on the selling club''

How does he come to that conclusion...

If Barca offer a reasonably fair fee he'll be their player, it's in their hands...
I think everyone at Arsenal have already resigned themselves to Cesc leaving they are just waiting for a real offer not a piss take one...
It's funny because they talk like Arsenal should just sell him for as less as possible because he has a "dream". This ain't Jim'll fucking fix it, Xavi!

Yea the whole thing has become laughable..

As i have said before it's time we stopped f*cking around with this..as much as i love Cesc (not in a tennis type way  ) f*ck what he wants.. it's time to ask for offers from all comers and lets see what he is really worth...

Then we can stop this bollocks of Barca acting like they are doing us a favour with their insulting £27m offer and that we are being unreasonable for not accepting it...

Agreed, all this public tapping up is out of hand now, we've stayed too silent, we should make an official statement, this is our captain, this is his price, put in a bid or its ending now.

No negotiating, if Cesc don't like it then he will really know what it feels like to suffer.

Sol is training with us again.

I say offer him a player/coaching role, he was a good organiser on the pitch.

You know we will end up re signing him and saving 17m that would have gone on Cahill.

I'm certain Koscienly and Vermaelen will be his first choice pairing now.

rigsby, frank sav, i think you are misunderstanding each other, frank, rigsbys agreeing with you re our shitty boring slow football....hes saying ppl still rave about it as they see clips on match of the day, us gooners see it week in week out and know how tedious and shit it is.

we have not been the best footballing side in the country for a couple of seasons at least. unoted and indeed chelsea last season at least, and dare i say it, sperz have played better more entertaining stuff than us.

our game is simply too slow and we hold on to the ball far too long, the days of one touch lightening breaks are long gone, as these players are mostly not good enough and not on the same wavelength to play such a game.

how do you know 6m is just paper talk kiwomya???

id pay 12m for parker, hes better than song by a stretch, and cant see anyone else for the same cost available who we could realistically sign, apart from some unknown frenchman. still we all know it will never happen as AW sees song and denilson and a load of 18 year olds as the answer...

Hmmm... perhaps (looking back at our exchange) we were at cross purposes.... Rigsby??? :? (I also agree with what you've posted above TPM)

Denilson is set to be frozen out at Arsenal after throwing a tantrum at being substituted after only 20mins of the team's first Malaysian friendly.

If he didn't get frozen out for what he said then he's not gonna get frozen out for this.

If Wilshere and Ramsey can't freeze Denilson out of the team then they ought to take a long, hard look at themselves.
