Arsenal are in talks with Anderlecht's Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia, 26. However, they face stiff competition from Real Madrid.

Dreading the media being filled with everybody pandering to Kagawa, with every glory-hunting prick under the sun exclaiming what a great player he is and how he's exactly what United need when the chances are very very few people have seen him play more than twice.

Where were all Dortmund's fantastic players when we played them? Hardly fair to judge them by two games but we were well below par in both and still nearly took 6 points, hard to believe the same team coasted to the Bundesliga ahead of Munich and smashed them in the cup final.

I haven't seen him play, but many seemed to think he would (have been) ideal for us, so no surprises that tightwad wenker didn't sign him.

They fcuking destroyed us in dortmund and even though it was them that got the late equaliser, it was clear to everybody that seen the game that a more accurate reflection on the game would have been a 3-1 or 4-1 victory for them

Seen him play a couple of games for argentina last season and I thought that he looked very average :o As I have said many times, I havent seen m'vila play but if he is as good as most people claim then he would be a far far better signing than this guy. Could this be yet another example of wenger choosing price over quality ? Remember the old signing......pay peanuts and you get monkeys

Seen the japanese guy a few times and he looks a lively player and I would compare him to a younger rosicky (without the endless injuries of course  ). Of course there is no guarantee that he will work out especially in a more physically demanding league but 12m for a player like him doesnt seem high risk to me. If the stories about what was said on the pitch after the german cup final is true (a team-mate is meant to have said on camera to ask wenger where this guy would be playing next season) then it would appear that he is another player that we were interested in, made enquires about, didnt sign and will talk about in years to come about how wenger looked at buying him but chose not to - we really are fast becoming the equivilent of our scummy neighbours
