The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is no point in getting excited about young Seamus,we will lowball as usual.

Granny shagger,on 300k a week someone must be smoking some serious sh*t. TV to manure would be retarded as we won't replace him.

Everytime I come on here and read the latest pointless rumour, The Style Council's Long hot Summer comes to mind. I can't wait to go holiday and not have to read the next player we won't sign.

I've still got the Fa cup glow despite Ivan and Arsene's best attempts to bring me down. Too used to this sh*t to get too f**ked off.

And after scoring 1 international goal in his career to date, why shouldn't he be our main summer signing ?

So both Uchida and Aurier were on show a while ago

How do you rate them? Aurier made the crosses that made both goals for Ivory Coast

Uchida was decent as well

Peace

Some guy called Gervinho got on the end of one of Aurier's crosses.

His crossing was excellent all game. Defensively he was ok,slight tendency to dive in but for the £10M quoted as his release clause then we should be well in there. Checked out his all round play in their last game of the season in Ligue 1 where he scores one and makes one.

It might be a cheap french buy that pays off. A bit like our last cheap french full back.

Uchida looked decent too, might be a bit more disciplined defensively but physically might get bullied. They would both cost us less than the £15million premium the English Calum Chambers would be.

I disagree with you on Aurier's crossing. he was ok. Only 3 of his 7 crosses found teammates. Uchida's 2 crosses found teammates.

I would go for Uchida for the following reasons:

1. More experience
2. More disciplined in defence
3. Aurier will absent for ANC

Peace
