today Rodgers stood for nearly 100 minutes, urging his player to press, push the back three up, and every sub was shown a colour flipchart before they came on with the formations and runs to make.

our idiot played with his coat and whined at the 4th official.

Wenger is a thief, he steals his wages.

When was the last time we won a big away game in the league?

I'm sure there must be some that I can't think of ( :? ) but I can only think of Chelsea away (when RVP scored a hat trick 3-4 years ago) and we beat Liverpool away 3-4 years ago when Santi and Podolski had just joined the club.

For the money we pay to watch this shite, we should be more than flat track bullies.

With that in mind, our next 4 away games are West Ham, Southampton, Citeh and Spurs. Our faltering season may continue.

Has he "lost the players"?

I hope so, as that may be the only reason for him to walk!

Seriously pissed off with the result today, I was actually beginning to think we might have begun to turn a corner, yet again only to be disappointed :banghead:

Why the hell can we never close a game out?

Lowest possession stats for us since current records began according to motd, holes all over the place in the team. How long can loyal Arsenal fans be expected to put up wit this, oh yeah I forgot fans don't matter :(

Was in the same boat today, sadly.

We were well off the pace like we have been all season. I contend that 4th if beyond us this year because popular opinion thinks that we will get it. Usually, it was the opposite. I think that we may finish as low as 7th with Spuds finishing above us, even if Wenger dips into the market in January. Most likely, it will be 5th, which sadly for the AKBs will be a 'vindication' that he turned it around. 'See, he wasn't blind to our shortcomings,' they will bellow while turning a blind eye to the incompetence of the previous 6 months.

Just out of interest, why did you think we'd turned a corner?

Stoke humiliated us only 2 weeks ago. Since then, we've had back to back games against teams who let us play our football the way we like to. We know we tend to win those games but when teams take us out of our comfort zone with power football (Stoke) and quick pressing and good pass/movement (Liverpool) our game collapses.

It genuinely baffles me how anyone could have gone into the Liverpool game thinking we had begun to turn a corner. :o

Anyway, we'll beat QPR with ease, but - more interestingly - if we can win 3 of the next 4 away games (West Ham, Southampton, Citeh and Sp*rs) then we can start talking about turning a corner.... but I won't be holding my breath. :|

The bloke never was and never will be - a bitter Chavski fan (probably one of cfcforever's heroes along with Cesc) still upset he got sold on 99 goals. The bloke has been the biggest critic of Arsenal on Sky, something a number of people on here were getting excited about, saying that he was "telling it as it is".....and now look at the thick fuckwit, saying Wenger can leave whenever he wants.

Seems like the 'The Stoke Three' have got inside his head too......maybe he'll be the next one to say "ahh, that's nice. The Arsenal fans are singing There's Only One Arsene Wenger"
For all this slagging off of modern footballers Merson happily admits he took a monumental step down for the money. Maybe it's because he's before my era but he' strikes me as a flip flopping prick who just happened to end up playing for us

Today for the first time in over 30 years of supporting The Arsenal I actually feel embarrassed to admit it

Now i know to some of you that may seem an extreme statement but I am truly embarrassed by the following:

1) Our Manager - its all been said before by better people than me.
2) Our players - their lack of conviction and performance when it really matters but also their blind obedience and unquestioning loyalty to the manager.
3) A number of our former players - who are either too stupid or too loyal to speak out against the manager but will criticise the team.
4) The directors of the club - sticking by the man who does their bidding without question immaterial of how he makes the club look.
5) Finally by a large section of the fans - who are too blind and stupid to see all the issues besetting this club at the moment.

We really are becoming a laughing stock to everyone else out their, pundits, other fans, other managers, Christ i'm beginning to feel paranoid that the whole footballing world is laughing at the 'Mighty Arsenal'. :banghead:

Please can someone give me some advice or glimmer of hope because this is getting beyond a joke..... :cussing: :cussing:
