As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

or we SHOULD trust. Who are we to say what Arsene has to do? HE is the one with them in training, HE is the one thats been watching them for years, HE knows their potential. I can point out flaws like our lack of experienced centre backs or holding mids but then again I havent won the premier league, FA cup and found the greatest player in this clubs history in the form of Henry.
I think we have all been watching them for years Jim but rather than judge them on potential I'd rather judge them on performance and what they are delivering. History is littered with players who looked exceptional in training sessions but for one reason or another (pressure maybe?) could not produce in proper matches so maybe that is the situation with some of our guys. What I do know however is that some of our current players are not quite good enough plus the balance of the team is all over the place especially when wenger plays a 4-4-2 formation and the fact that wenger appears not to have even identified these problems much less rectify them should be a cause for concern for all.
Rob I have yet again cited almunia as an example because I really believe that he is not good enough to be a number 1 at our club. I think there has been a slight over-reaction to his performance in turkey last tuesday night - yes he played well but most of what he did was sweeping behind the (shocking) back 4 and of course because he was out so far it meant he was in a position to close their strikers down very quickly on the 18 yard line when they broke through. Again let me say that he did play well but what he did well was the basics and there was no evidence there that convinced me that he has stepped up to the top level tier as a keeper. For what it is worth I also actually thought cesc was our best player on the night
what a load of old bollocks - Wenger is still the man and do you want Arsenal to become the next Tottenham or Newcastle and change there manager every year
Because that is what will happen - we have been spoilt under GG and AW and there is no one out there who knows Arsenal FC like Arsene Wenger -

Am I happy that we didn't sign a holding midfielder or centre back? no!
Am I happy with out total disregard for the defensive side of our game? no!
Am I 100% happy that our team is getting younger every season, yet we're supposed to be patient whilst they mature? no!
But... am I happy with Wenger as manager of Arsenal??? YES!.. but that doesn't mean I don't have concerns, because I do.
