Dublin gooners

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cheers! I take it the Dublin SC is just like the one in N5..... :banghead:

I'll try to make it to Kate's Cottage.... I've got to get from O'Connell St without getting lost (doesn't look too difficult in fairness) but I don't mind giving a load of shit to plastic Manks when we beat them 1 - 0 with an offside Eboue diving cheat ***** goal

who's the blazered crunt?

In fairness I thought it would have been decent of DB10 to have invited you round his for the game Digger!

Maybe put you up for the night too!

DB10GOONER wrote:Hi digger. Sorry for late reply. But I'd take Kates Cottage on Amiens Street with a pinch of salt. The "official" Dublin supporters club watch games there and while most of them are sound, they are run by a self serving wanker and his bitch (male).

Not my scene.

But if you are in Dublin, that will probably be the only pub you aren't outnumbered by armchair, non-travelling manure arseholes 20 to 1.

If you see a stupid crunt there in an Arsenal club blazer ( ) try and spill your drink on him...

:coffeespit:

Sorry digger - only saw this now... Not on here as much lately.

As for the arsehole in the blazer... he is the founder of the DSC and runs it for his own benefit - last I heard he still does. He goes over and presents the player of the year award etc. We watched the 95 CWC with them and he made a fucking speech before the game, and then gave us all a big lecture on our behaviour in the pub... standing their in his club blazer and tie... fucking wankhead...  :banghead:

Sounds like our very own unelected SC leader

Fortunately there was no-one in a blazer to tip by beer over - which was a result because getting pissed up in Dublin is FUCKING expensive!

Found Kate's Cottage easily enough, atmosphere was ok and result was even better.

Oh, and to anyone getting on the Ryanair flight from Dublin to Luton at about 7:45, you're all *word censored* Saw about 30 people in Arsenal shirts boarding the plane I just got off, if you knew how jealous I was...
