bendtner or vela

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would be happy if he never wears the shirt again. I know someone who goes clubbing in london a lot and Nik is a regular. Charlie Nicholas syndrome methinks.

I think it will be another year at least until vela is established in the 1st team, however i think bendtners best ever arsenal perfomance was last week against man utd....gave 110%

After todays game I have finally lost patience with the danish wonder. It is not solely a question of quality but charachter.

Granted playing up top alone is not an enviable task however an unwillingness to press, harry and compete with laursen in the air was evident. From what I heard today around the ground he is entirely unpopular and given his attitude that is not a suprise.

Vela is more deserving of an oppertunity, his attitude is superior and his limited chances thus far have shown genuine promise.

Why one or the other ? Why not both together? Bendtner caused Vidic and Ferdinand a lot of problems last week and worked pretty hard on his own up front. But why did we play him up front on his own yesterday? Surely playing at home you would have though we could have managed to start with two strikers FFS :banghead:

Dont have a go at Bendtner after yesterdays game.Blame Wenger for playing him.He has never been more than a championship player.I could never believe the hype about him.Sell him back to Brum :banghead: :banghead:
