if he took over Arsenal he wouldn't hack the pressure
What like Celtic who have won the European Cup and have a fan base bigger than our own.....
the expectations at celtic park and at any top 4 side are huge in comparison

Celtic are shit - and wouldn't finish in the top 6 if they played in the PL - they won the european cup back in the black and white days - and only other competition is Rangers and they are just as shitSteveO 35 wrote:Chunky Monkey wrote:he would turn the Arsenal Job down - he is billy small bollocks - he takes over shit clubs and turn's them into half decent sides, so he is on a win-win situation

So if he takes Villa into the Champions League would you say that wasn't an achievement......

yes it is an achievement my argument is he always takes jobs where there is a win-win situation - Apart from die hard Villa fans - who else thought he would break into the top 4, so if he does he is the next Messiah, if he doesn't nobody will care
At Arsenal he will have much big pressure - we will demand to be challenging for Champions not fourth - if he is only expected to get fourth we just as well keep Wenger

That's an interesting point. Now tell me what are we demanding of AW?Chunky Monkey wrote:So if he takes Villa into the Champions League would you say that wasn't an achievement......[/quote

BTW I don't think O'Neill is right choice for Arsenal.
I can see your point honest ! All I would say is that he has raised the bar at every club he has been too. I don't think he is the be all and end all of managers but he has been working his way up. Wycombe, Leicester, Celtic and Villa have all gone a level up under his management. There's nothing to say he wouldn't do the same to a bigger club.Chunky Monkey wrote:So if he takes Villa into the Champions League would you say that wasn't an achievement......[/quote

Also at Celtic there is a huge expectation. Finish 2nd and you're a loser. I think that stands him in good stead for a challenge

we are demanding what Wenger has achieved in previous 12 seasons making us one of the best teams in the PL and to be challenging for the PL title like last year when we fell just short - instead of building on last year - we have gone backwards like 2 to 3 years ago - not replacing Flamini was the biggest mistake Wenger has made this season

well i can't see it happening - Wenger has a job for life and so rightly in my opinion

I wouldf say letting Flamini go was biggest mistake...
