Can the impossible really happen to The Spuds?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Problem is that there are so many teams still in the mix that if we're all honest you could pick out 3 teams that are worse than them. But if they don't beat Stoke in their next game then I'll start to get a semi on!!. What we really need is for them to get a couple of juicy long term injuries and squeaky bottom time will be nearer and nearer!

Is it at Stoke? Spurs will have no chance up there. Stoke have improved since the start of the season, West Brom have improved massively... Spurs have had their "dead cat bounce" and will sink back to where they belong.

I'm afraid they def won't go down! All they need is a bit of confidence, they can certainly get two wins on the bounce at some point and that'll prob lift them to about ninth!

Would soil myself if they did go down though!

As for big 4 comment, spurs could be in the blue square prem and would still raise they're game against us and make it tough :( We'll prob turn their season around

God im in a pessimistic mood today!

If they stayed up by a point then I would be gutted. Especially given how they got that one point at ours.

They would probably see it as an opportunity to release a commemerative "one point" wall plaque

I have such a bad feeling the scum are gonna raise their game (as usual) v us and take 3 points, on the flip side how GOOD will it be if we beat them and send them into the bottom 3 again!!

Can't see it but I hope they don't stay up.
What is guaranteed is they'll bring out a 'relegation survival DVD'

I think they could go down, it's very tight down there, having good players don't make a good team and Redknapp is showing how out of depth he really is.

West Brom are getting good at home and Stoke are fighters, that's gonna be a real 6 pointer next week that i think Stoke will win.

People say they're too good to go down but Leeds were relegated with a better side and look at them now?! When you see "Gomes" and "Bent" on the team sheet there's always hope! :barscarf:

I think Forest were too good to go down too, lets not forget for a few seasons before they were always in the semis and top 6.

If Spurs think that they are too good then it will be dangerous.

Can Harry really do to them what he did to Southampton? Unless they spend big and get top strikers next month, I'm starting to think they could be in trouble.
It's so tight down there (as the actress said.........)
Think they will have enough to get out of it just! but Newcastle. Citeh and Bolton, I reckon one of those will definitely go down and given yesterdays debacle at city it could well be them.

I too doubt very much if those *word censored* will get relegated but if they go down I will be very very pissed off if we Gooners do not organise some party to celebrate the fact  I know that makes us like them in that it might be seen as celebrating any kind of mickey mouse event but I will def be flying over to celebrate their demise and I dont give a flying fcuk how that makes me look :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
