talk through the grapevine at work is that we may end up out there as a peacekeeping force, .ost probably as part of NATO but possiblly of our own backs.

Thanks for everyone's concerns.

I'm not in the line of fire personally (well, not yet), because I live in Tel Aviv, which is in the centre of the country, and Hamas don't have missiles that can get into here. Anyway, I don't think they would bomb my city, but our shelter, is ready for any case.

The state of the Israeli people is good, especially if you compare it to the last time we were at war, two years ago in Lebanon. I admire the people in the south of the country, because the situation they live in is impossible and they are still taking it well (You have to get to a shelter 15 second after an alarm is activated in Sderot).

I hope we can give some peace and quiet to the people living in the south of the country, they are getting bombarded almost every day, in the last 8 years, and that situation reached it's "peak" when Hamas shoot 80 missiles into Sderot and it's surroundings, two weeks ago. We didn't have any choice but to react to that.

It's seems that the army have prepared for that operation like it should have (again, unlike the last war), and it gave Hamas a blow that he'll need a lot of time to recover from.

I just hope we can get an agreement that we'll suit the needs of the area and give our country and the citizens of gaza quiet days.

Again thanks for everyone's concers.

Sorry but Daniels post is very political. I am pleased he is ok but this needs to be closed now as I for one am quite pissed off with some of the things he says.

Fully agreed.

I've got a lot to say on this, but this isn't the right forum to say it on.

I really didn't try to make any political comments.

I have so much to say about the topic, but I do agree that in these times, when both sides are taking punishment (Luckily, Me, my family and friends didn't suffer any), talking about the subject in a right or wrong way, can be a bit too sensitive.

Ha!

They kicked us out in the 1940s through terrorism and now there's talk of us going back there to 'keep the peace'

Alanis Morrisette - this is ironic!
