A real shitty night ahead.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Come on spud, i know we are shit at the moment and watching this current team is sometimes just plain depressing, but you got to watch your team mate.... Highlights will be on sky sports news after midnight! 5 minutes of man utd is more then enough!

I hear what you're all saying and I've no doubt that I'll end up watching us but does anyone here think our game will be the better one of the two?

All I'm saying is that the clash of Inter and Manure, moaninho v Fergusmoan, will be more of a spectacle than us struggling to break down an in form Roma.
We'll show plenty of spirit, belief, focus, maturity etc.etc. blah blah bullshit and after 90 mins I can see myself wishing I'd done the washing up and a self vasectomy using a hedgecutter.

My natural desire tells me that I have to watch our game tonight. After all, it's Arsenal, I'm an Arsenal Fan and sadly it might be one of the last opportunities to see them in the CL for a while (hopefully not but I'm being a realist).
The problem is this. As well as being an Arsenal supporter, I'm also a football supporter and something tells me that Manures game vs Inter is going to be a much better game.
I don't know what I'll do. Of course I expect to get slated for even considering watching them, and I'm certain that when it comes down to it I will watch our game, but does anyone else think that theirs might be the better match to watch?
Not heard of Sky plus???? You cannot miss our boys for watching those Manc c**ts(now you've done it, you made me use the word!!!) :banghead:
I can't use sky plus tonight because the she devil is recording Holby fucking City.

Does anyone else hate that program as much as me

who out of you lot posted on this thread is actually going to the game???

i don't have choice who to watch as i'll be there. If i wasn't i would love to be.

You can't bitch about anything to do with attending a game if you can't bring yourself to watch the same team on tv for free just coz they are not playing as well as you may want or that the 'other' game has more media hype / bullshit going on around it.

At best you would tape the manure game and get to it when our's had finished.

Sky+ wouldn't do you much good anyway. ITV show goals from the other games 'picture-in-picture' during the match as they go in, so it's not like you'd be able to watch the Arsenal game oblivious to any other scores.

Well the man u game is on ESPN here so i'll have it on the TV with the sound turned off. the arsenal game is on ESPN360.com which means it's a perfect legal stream (dont know if you guys can access it, should try though). So i will have both on but only the sound on the arsenal game.

As it's the first leg and at Milan I can't see the Man U game being that much more entertaining.

So I'd stick with us for now and see what looks good in the second legs.
