I find Villa and the **** attitude to the UEFA cup puzzling

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Winning the EUFA cup earns you £2m qualification to the CL is worth £30m thats why Villa didnt give two fucks.I fully expect Wenger to play a weakened team in the competition next season if he is still manager of course

My thoughts exactly! What are villa gonna do when they have to play midweek in the CL and then the league on the weekend? They are small time *word censored* is what they are and stupid for not taking european competition seriously just to finish 4th. I don't get it :? .


As for the spuds no matter what team they put out they still would have lost :-P

To be honest if the inevitable does happen and we end up in the UEFA cup I would probably prefer if we concentrated on getting back into the champions league instead of playing some outfit from some far corner of Europe.
