True Donaldo you have a good point i think there will be some shocks before the season startsdonaldo wrote:The reason i mentioned Davis was that its well known Wenger is an admirer. As for unproven English players he spent £13million on Theo who had never played in the premiership unlike Davis.

Halleujah and praise the lord, at last some sanity is being restored I have been on a thread here tryin to chill everybody out and to realise that we should be lookin forward to the new season but no matter how clear you make it, backed up with history and facts, some people will just not listen!

Count me in as well ..I am surrounded by Non Arsenal fans who think we will finish in the bottom half . I think we may surprise a few & get closer to the top then in the last two seasons. We're a year into the emirates - henry didn't really contribute last season anyway due to injury or whatever- everyones a year older ... I've run out of reasons !!

What pisses me off is that we've suppose to of had £50 million to spend last season with & Wenger never spent a penny of that in the January window
Have we still got the money? I'm sure we may have even more since we don't no longer pay for Thierry wages with a £4 pie
I'm glad that players are starting to come in now because it's better to have a big squad then a small one (as everyone knows) & hopefulley Wenger still has his magic to get those unknown faces & turn them into the best

Don't think it's all doom and gloom, as was said before a useful squad centreback and a quality winger will make us more competitive.
Get the feeling there will be at least one more signing before August 31.
