Clichy vs Gibbs?

gibbs looked really good today. clichy is still 1st choice but he really needs to work on his crossing. its really not that hard.

He's a great prospect and provides some quality in squad depth.

I still rate Clichy more at the moment though.

Dont know how we keep coming up with these left backs, its supposed to be one of the toughest positions.

Gibbs looks good & I like how being promoted to the First Team doesnt phase him.

Clichy is still number 1 (or 3 if you like) but Gibbs looks like he will only get better

Gibbs shows a lot of promise and does seem to have the right attitude to become a bigtime player, but Clichy is on a whole different level to him at the moment.

Yes, Clichy has suffered a dip in form this season, but I rarely seen anyone perform at such a consistently high level as he did last season.

Yes this really is a no contest at the minute, Gibbs has promise but still made a few mistakes against an average championship side, I would be concerned were he to be selected if we reach the semis.
