Rdaford is criticizing the playing of the game as we all believe that the allocation is wrong and complain about it. if we to get to the final i would have a ticket but i would begrudge any person who was non-Arsenal who had a ticket and wanted to feel the "experience".

the ballot is wrong and playing the game whilst complaining about allocations at semi-finals and finals is wrong as well.

2. The rules - as they stand - are that we know that:
- a portion of the tickets will be available by a ballot
- Arsenal will give priority based on away match credits
- If you are not a Gold member, don't have an away season ticket and don't work in the ticket office (

So.....I think its entirely fair and sensible that gooners think in advance of other routes to Rome. That means that many will have entered the ballot (I'm sure with plans to sell on at face value if we don't get there - unlike the good citizens of Paris a few years back who never had any intention of going to the game.....) and many (like me

) will be putting effort into boosting their away match credits - which I have to say was the main reason I took the kids to West Brom on a school night.

Fair play to any gooners who were bright enough to get a ticket via the ballot (wrong as I agree the ballot is....). Just wish I'd tried it myself.....

Radford says "yea right mate" obtaining tickets for a final over a thousand miles away when your team has only a chance of getting to thus depriving the real fans of the teams that get there a chance of a ticket. thats the way to go.

I was one of the thousands in Paris without a ticket. Had a brilliant time (probably my best "matchday" experiences ever - and without getting within site of the ground!) and would recommend going to Rome (if we get there....) even if you end up watching the game in a bar!

I absolutely agree that the ticket distribution is a disgrace. They need to make some money out of the Corporates, but why the neutrals....daft. Ok, so some of these will be fans of the teams still involved at that stage - but having been to the Germany v Czech Republic final of Euro 96 then I don't think there is any point in going if you don't support one of the teams.

BUT.....while they's the rules then I certainly don't blame anyone in "playing" them to their own advantage.....!
