Reply from Arsenal about stand names.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think the stadium manager's right. Imagine the absolute chaos every home game if the stands were named after Legends who have pulled on the famous red and white, would anyone actually make it in time for kick-off.??

I can imagine it now - "I'm in the Liam Brady stand".- "What's that mate, your sitting in the Tony Adams stand".- "No the Liam Brady stand".- "No sorry mate, you've lost me".-"Oh well mate, see you after the match, damn these confusing stand names"!!

You can just envisage the carnage now!! Yep, AG would be one difficult ground to watch football if the stands had names and not colours. :? :?

I wasm"t suprised by the answer given.As i said in an earlier post its up to the fans to start naming the stands because the club does not want to upset the sponors.Money talks
