I've said before that I think DB10 would be an excellent choice for mod.

Given that I've come in for quite a lot of criticism following last night and several have questioned my position as a mod, can I ask if anyone wants me removed from the list? If so just say so, I'll step aside if people really want me to.

Spuddy, as someone who mentioned you in connection to last night I would definitely say no way am I asking for you to step down as a mod. As I said in the post a) you’ve always seemed more than fair as a mod which is one of the things that perhaps made it stand out more to me and b) it’s all down to interpretation & that was just how last night’s events appeared to play out to me personally. I’m sure plenty of others would have a different opinion.

Tbh it's always baffled me why anyone would want to be a mod so fair play to all of you who do the job for no reward.



As for any new mods I’d nominate g88ner or DB10 but I’d be happy with any of the others mentioned so far.

Gus...actually what the hell I can speak normally as he is gone now plus he doesn't even know that I am writting this whether you believe me or not....my husband is no longer on this forum and it pains me as it was his third love after the Arsenal and gooner,,,,,actually maybe I am his fourth love after guinness....but anyway, he loved this place and spent alot of time on here somtimes to my annoyance as you all know but he has increasingly become intolerant of complete and utter arseholes on here being sanctimonious tossers and now turns out that people we thought were our friends are no better are than Phil Brown...I for one cannot deal with that and there is never any need for that, we all have our our crap going on in our lives to worry about people being an arse...but it comes back to that we all support the Arse and it seems to me that everyone has taken leave of that and all too many people all of a sudden have forgotten that and are no better than that fucker in the great big pink fucking hat....everyone needs to remember that we all love the arsenal and that is what is important.......BUT what i do agree with is that religion and politics should never ever be part of our love for Arsenal and football...there is enough fucked up shit in this world without all this nonsense but all the while I will always agree tht a mod is supposed to be someone that can b completely neutral and therefore I think Mike and Kev should re think their stance on this forum as even me as a woman always thought it to be firstly Arsenal and tits and arse second.....I know people are going to say oh yet another woman spouting off but remember this.....I love my husband and my children but I do love Arsenal too. I been brought up on them and I live with my husband going every other week etc so please can we get back to what is important and stick together.........and if I am wrong for that then thats fine whatever you all think,just probably being a DORIS but that doesn;t make me wrong..

That's certainly from the heart Vicki, but I hope you've also noticed that while most seem to agree the whole thing last nite should've been handled with a bit more thought, they also understand their reservations regarding the imminent appointment and they also want to see Gus and Wayno back cos nobody on here is any doubt of their contribution and therefore the place would be far less colourful not to mention edgy without them!

Agree with, especially religion etc, should have no link with the Arsenal, we are all on here for one thing and one thing only THE ARSENAL F.C.

Thats fine BB but I think that this has been brewing for a while with people being sanctimonious and bringing in religion and political stuff that has nothing to do with Arsenal...Yes some people don't like seeing tits and arses on here but as a woman's perspective this is a mans realm ultimately(I know I'm going to get slated for this) but there is no room for politics and religion on here...surely its about Arsenal and having a laugh and if people can't see that then its a sorry affair.

agree with you mrs gus. Politics and religion should be sent to the basement.I come on this forum for the banter and the craic and the chat about arsenal as i come from a small town where theres only a handful of arsenal fans.So its great to have this forum and its a pity people have to fall out with each other .After all the majority of us support our club and thats what should be important.So maybe when everybody concerned have calmed down the people who felt the need to leave this forum will think about coming back.And i would also like to say thank god im an atheist.
