There cant be no excuse from Wenger for that team selection.Arshavin had to be a certain starter.He has to except he is to blame.If we lose to Man Utd in the CL he must go

Absolutley the WORST team selection and formation I have EVER seen from Wenger. WHAT. THE. FUCK.

Denilson over Song? Diaby instead of Arshavin? Van Persie playing a left midfielder? What on earth....

Okay then aside from that his first two substitutions were to take off the ONLY 2 players on the pitch that can create a special goal in RVP and Adebayor. WHAT THE FUCK.

Wenger was afraid of Chelsea and he made that VERY clear by adjusting our line-up and formation instead of making them adjust to us and playing our game.

Well done Chelsea, they hit the post, had a penalty denied them, we worked their keeper once (the goal), they deserved the win. Chelsea were not great but they didn't have to be, we started off with the wrong set of players (no Song, no Arshavin) and though we started well enough, we were always going to be made to pay. Positives? We still have a CL semi final, Gibbs, Walcott and Ade performed well and that's about it.

Fabianski was a disaster but with the exception of the three above, nobody was doing well. The defence were guilty in both goals, Silvestere nearly gave away a penalty while the midfield failed to either protect the inept defence or offer Ade, toiling away on scraps, any support. We couldn't clear our lines, we couldn't keep possession, we did very little right today. Wenger and the players have a CL semi to save face but we perform like that again and we will be humiliated

Benitez couldn't have picked a more bewildering line up! Arsh has been our best player since his arrival, he can't play in clge doesn't need to play at anfield after the villa result, so what the fuck is he doing on the bench today.

When 3 of your regular back 4 are out theonly option is to take the game to the opposition from the start.

The team selection clearly never lended itself to that.
No pace (other than Walcott) and no flair.

The worst thing we did was takle the lead because after that we were always going to place the emphasis on defence even though we were so short at the back. No shots on target for the next hour.

An appalling performance with only Gibbs and Walcott coming out with any credit.

If we go to Old Trafford with that attitude/formation there will be no point in going to the 2nd leg.

Wenger can't see tyhe obvious which is very worrying.

Chelsea fully deserved their victory.
