Hope you get it sorted Flash, my mom suffered with this for years before getting it checked and it did require a couple of ops to move them back into place.

my personal advice would be to miss the game, it sounds like you're in a bit of pain and its better to miss the one game than risk ending up missing them all.

Flash, The one thing you should not do is to remain static, keep moving gently as much as you can( I said Gently not Bently),See you Sunday :barscarf:

Got some more drugs last night off the doc he has said its def. a disk problem and as from lunch time today im off work for the rest of the week apparently im gonna be high so quite looking forward to it

You might be seeing more of me in this forum if the boredom of laying in bed for a few days kicks in and im hoping i can make it on Sunday still, hopefully get to say hello to a few of you. As Queenie says at least ill have a nice comfortable chair and not much jumping up and down there
Welcome to my world!! 8) 8)

As it happens I've just got over a back problem that was caused by coughing whilst washing out the bath.  Although it wasn't a slipped disc, I use to get awful pain sitting, standing or moving and at it's worst my back used to go into spasm which left me helpless as a baby. The doctor told me that only painkillers (which did nothing at all for me :banghead:  ) and rest of about 6 weeks would help it.

Thankfully after 4 weeks it's much better. Although having said that, it has started feeling a bit stiff again today...... and my back has been hurting as well   (boom, boom!!)

No no too drastic walk in front of a bus and your back will be the least of your problems.

I've heard that certain specialists can stick their fingers up your arse and it actually feels quite pleasent

As for your back, I'm afraid I've got no advice on that whatsoever.

Oh dear. You are in for some disapointing presents this year Flash.

There is the Alex Song mountain bike, it's big and looks the part but only comes with one speed. No good if you want to go to the summit of some high hills.

The Theo Walcott action man. A fantastic piece of kit, only trouble is it's arms keep coming off.

Next up comes the Denilson spy kit. The real deal if you want to use camouflage to blend into any green surroundings without being seen. It only lasts for 90 minutes though.

Finally, prepare to be wowed by the back four etch-a-sketch. Impossible to get any decent performance out of and no matter how many time you shake it blank and start again, your pictures will always resemble total crap.

Happy Crimbo mate.

I was knocked out with various drugs last week Basil and it has helped things a lot. After the game and travelling etc it felt a bit worse but able to go to work and do my own shoes up thankfully, bloody left leg keeps going numb still though which is worrying. Waiting for the MRI scan mid-may now then what treatment after that. Thanks for asking :)
