Riot on Holloway road

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

didn't say you should leave early after all it could have ended in a " i was there" moment, however i think they would have been entitled to throw their flags in disgust

Yes about 80 old bill running down holloway rd to the georges pub on Eden grove went to have a look and could see battons waving before being moved on by other old bill.

Dont know what it was about but im not sure it was mancs from the ground because when I left most of them *word censored* we're still celebrating so it would have been hard for them to get there that quick.

Agree, only rats leave a sinking ship. It may not have been pleasant viewing but those who flee the battlefield when things are going against the team are fair weather fans at best.

I disagree. I've been a fan for thirty years but can understand people leaving tonight. I'll never support those that leave early to catch the train or watch newsnight but I can understand those that are disgusted by what they are being served up. The club treat us all now as nothing more than customers. As such we have a right to express our dissatisfaction and if some people choose to do so by walking out then fair enough. You wouldn't think twice about walking out of a cinema if the film was shite so why should you feel forced to stay in a football ground if you are unhappy with the product you have been sold.

At least 20,000 rats at the game then, but as fee paying visitors they have every right to leave whenever they choose.

Voting with their feet is a passive way of letting AW and the board know that they have failed again this season and the fans aren't happy.

A poor display all round. Can't wait to hear AW's excuses for this one.

Why doesn't he just own up to the fact that we have to buy in some more quality and experience.

wenger is may things but he is not a *word censored*, he is sometimes niavie in his selections and yes sometimes some of his decissions are baffling to all of us, but he is the greatest manager this club has ever had.
the bigger problem is above him, the board, the directors, the money men, as long as 60,000 turn up every week and they can claim 40,000 more are locked out, they will be happy. you can not run a club as big as arsenal on a shoe string bugdegt buying average players.

maybe this is a wake up call for the board, maybe kronkye investing is a sign of the future. and maybe he is aware of the fans frustrations

its to soon to get rid of arsene, for one who the hell would be good enough to replace him?
