Today's the Day

Well, in a couple of hours I'll be heading down the A1 to meet up with my brother and then on to the Emirates for my pilgrimage to the Home of Football. Apparently its a sell-out so hopefully its gonna be a great day. Watched both matches yesterday on the box, but didnt think you could read much into them. Wondered what La Boss was up to putting out 5 different players in second half, but thought he might have been seeing what it would be like when Kolo et al go off to the african cup. Im feeling like a little kid at the moment, got my fingers and toes crossed that nothing disasterous happens getting to my mum's and everything goes well. Gonna try and make it to the Rocket before the games so I might see some of you fellow onliners in there. I'll be looking out for Gus Ceaser Is A Legend as he's taking his missus and I know that he's gonna try and make it to the Rocket.

Well here's to a great day and I hope to run into a few of you.

Morning all

Fantastic day. Wish I had the seats I was in as season ticket holder.

No Daz I didnt go in the Rocket as I got there about 12.30 and it didnt open till 1pm so I went across to Tommy's, tried spotting Gus but I was outside most of the time as I had to have plenty of nicotine as I was gonna have to go all that time in the stadium without a cough and choke.

Im on a downer now this morning as I want to go up for every game but I know its so hard to get a ticket

It is hard to get a ticket and expensive. Id love to have gone over the weekend but seeing as i dont have much spare money having a young family and stuff thought id save for a few league matches. Where abouts is the rocket, can anyone let me know? Glad you had a good one Del

Rocket is on Holloway Road.

Come out of Holloway tube go across road, then walk right and it's not far down the road next to the hole in the wall (use it all the time but can't remember which bank!)
