If you tell Rijkaard he has 13 million to spend on new players he will laugh in your face. Same for O'Neill etc.

Will also be fun to see what the Adebayor haters would do when a new manager declares that he's one of the most important players in his plans and that he'll keep him at the club.
Would Rijkaard conitinue to play players out of position?Would Rijkaard leave his best player on the bench in an FA cup semi final?Lack of funds is no excuse for bad tactical decisions
the tactical thing is so ridiculous. As if other managers get the tactics right in every bloody game.

Everyone makes mistakes. He's made one in the FA Cup semi-final, such is life. He also made a mistake playing Kolo at right back at the end of last season.

Do you think Rijkaard was fired by Barcelona because he got everything right? Same goes for every single manager out there, including Mourinho or whoever you care to mention.

Diaby playing on the left wing was not a one off mistake its been going on for two years.Barcelona sacked Rijkaard 2 years after winning the CL.Oh for a manager who makes mistakes like that

The Arahavin decision was ridiculous and unforgiveable.

Diaby can play on the left and do a good job there. It's not his strongest position, but against certain opposition he's a good option there.

Bendtner can play on the right and he can do a job there. Something he's shown this season in several games.

Whether it's their natural position doesn't matter one bit. The amount of injuries we suffered in the last 2 seasons require you to be inventive and your players to be flexible.

Rijkaard was sacked because he couldn't handle the dressing room and the players wanted him out.

If you want journeyman managers from now on, he's your man.

Because he could afford to prioritise and knew that he would neeed him for both the prem game a few days later and the clge against us.
We had virtually secured 4th spot due to villa's result the previous day and Arshavin couldn't play in the clge.Thats why it was a ridiculous decision.

What Wenger's being criticised for now isn't the usual hindsight b@llocks from fans though, everybody said the squad wasn't good enough at the start of the season, and everyone I was with couldn't believe Arshavin wasn't starting at Wembley. Wenger accepted huge deserved credit for the wonder years so he'll just have to take the grief now without playing games with the press about Madrid

So wenger's upset about being criticized,i thought that was part and parcel of the job.As stated before he accepted the praise from both fans, fellow professionals and the paper's so he should be man enough to accept the flak when things go wrong!!Lets be honest here there is over-whelming evidence during this season for criticism to be vented at wenger and i not going to state them!as we have different views on the game?
I would like to think he will change things during the summer and we could have a season like 2007/8 but go all the way this time....lets wait and see!!
