As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

the thing is flash redaction seem to thing they represent all the supporters and that they are the only true gooners and people will feel that everything is ok and no one will ever question the manager no matter where we finish in the league or go another 5 years without a trophy because they are been interviewed on tv and quotes in the papers,
all is well at the emirates
Its strange that banners and flags are frowned upon at the ground but if they support Wenger strangely the stewards turn a blind eye, anyone would think the club asked/told them to do it . What happens if youre a member of redAction but think Wenger has had his time?
The "I love AW" t shirts are quite frankly embarrasing . As i said before for what its worth ive lost all respect for them

Fizeman has never been into football and isnt a fan, just an investor who wishes to get the maximum return on his investment.
Hillwood is a buffoon that sold his inheritence for a pittance so whoever takes over do it soon and get on with equiping Wenger with the resources to d what has to be done.
The board unfortuntely think the likes of the supporters trust and aisa represent the fans and alledgedly managed to get them to have a pop at wenger during the supporters meeting, something i find rather sinister.
One things for sure whilst I wasnt a Dein fan I think he had our interests at heart far more than the cuntz who currently sit on the board.
Wenger has made some errors but remains the man for all seasons
HAppy May 26th to all
Please specify which of the current board you'd describe as "cuntz". You realise that Kroenke is one of the board members? And the fact that you say "Fizeman has never been into football and isnt a fan, just an investor who wishes to get the maximum return on his investment" then call for Usmanov to take over is just laughable
I dislike all of the current board and In particular hillwood and fizeman,i thought that was clear in my post . I do realise who is on the board and didnt say i was pro usmanov . What i did say is that nothing will change in terms of more funds for Wenger unless one or the other takes over and invests more money into the club, something the current regime will never do and are in fact prohibited to do so by more than £20 m per annum as part of the finance package we have on the loan.
Im very happy with Wenger and hope he stays forever but there are boardroom knives out for Wenger and the board have managed to get the w anchors or red action and the tossers of the shareholders trust to use to stab him recently.
Please read before making smug replies in future you smug mug !
I'm going to get slated for this but I agree...none of us wanted RICH money coming in but unless we accept that then arsenal as a team we are not going to get anywhere and we have to accept that...whether we like it or not football is about money and if we do not get proper backing with spending money then next season we are going to struggle against teams we do not want to be struggling against and you know who I am talking about and is that something any of us want to be thinking????but we need to....end of..hard I know but its the long hard truth...its life!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but when have REDaction ever said they represent all supporters?
As per usual people talk from the outside of an organisation, how do either of you know what discussions take place within REdaction. i can assure there is no blind allegiance to Arsene Wenger, although the majority view is that he is still the best man for the job.
Most of the people on the march that day were not even REDaction regulars they were people who wanted to support the manager and therefore by extension the team.
We started the ball rolling no doubt but it was then picked up on by other Arsenal supporters.
Obviously the club are highly unlikely to let negative banners in the ground, but I am sure if you put your money where your mouth is and produce banners that fit into the size limitations imposed by stadium management i am sure you will be able to put your banner out. How long it would stay up is of course another matter.

Nice to read your response. I always thought that redAction's role was to improve atmosphere within the stadium during matches only so not sure how this march/banners improved the atmosphere??? I understand your reasons for being inter-twinned with the club, so that you can help from inside rather than looking from outside, but cant help but wonder if this had something to do with the club due to the organisation changing its role for the day just as the board say some fans are out of order for questioning Wenger.
As for banners im sure any form of negativity would be removed but that the way the club is these days
As i said before ive always thought youve had a bit of a hard time on here in the past but i question redAction now because of the points if written

Its quite simple really the initial reasoning for starting the march was because we were aware that due to the way Ashburton is set up then we cannot all gather together in one part of the ground.
Therefore the idea was to 'march' together prior to the game in the hope that it would prove popular. The feeling was that if it did then we could try out songs etc on the walk up to the stadium that maybe some had not heard before and then these could be taken on into the various parts of the ground. A lot of the time we get e-mails from people saying that they sit in block wherever and that when they get up to sing they just get blank looks from all around. Therefore one objective of the 'march' is to give these people a bit of an opportunity to sing etc in a bigger group, and from there hopefully encourage them to keep on trying to get others singing in the ground.
Personally I think that the march does help the noise levels within the ground as the march does have some residual effect.
The Club had no say in the banners whatsoever, it was purely a response from our membership. Literally within hours of the question session with the shareholders we were being e-mailed regularly with people wanting to show support for Arsene.
Of course when we advised them of the content they were quite happy for us to bring them in the ground.
I think you can see that we did not in effect change our role for the day, especially not at the behest of the club.
PS Its good to see that little picture at the bottom of your posts, I wonder who got those made and put up?

I think my point has got lost a bit I was talking about a march in support of Wenger with people wearing I LOVE AW t shirts how does that aid atmosphere? It seemed to me your role of increasing atmosphere was changed that day... Anyway as ive said i dont think redAction do a bad job generally but felt that the AW march coinciding (sp) with the shareholders meeting and subsiquent (sp again) statements from the board were a bit strange. Glad youve cleared it up
