As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Simply because we can't afford to lose first team players and then bring in inadequate replacements, like last season.
1) He held the club to ransom last summer
2) His attitude and effort this season has been crap
3) He's offside 67 times per game
4) He needs 5 chances to score
But in your opinion if Man City or other clubs have a genuine interest in him and they offer £20m+ you still think we should keep him?

My thoughts exactly, 100% agree! apart from the Bendtner part
So if he stays, what do we do? boo him first game of the season? yeah that would be really productive! if he stays he must be given the oppurtunity to redeem himself, even if it's only for 5 or 6 games.
Fact is if he gives his all next season he is in the top 3 strikers in the prem, and given our financial state we won't be able to buy anyone of that calibre.

agreed. i don't really think there is any point on getting on his back at games if he stays. by all means rage about him in the pub afterwards but if he's not going anywhere, we might as well get behind him

Last season proved he was a one season wonder. If he shuts up!!! He gives more press conferences than Barrack Obama.
This just strikes me as a contradiction in terms, surely two seasons one good and one bad doesnt prove a thing, last season could have been a freak bad season and the one before could have been a freak good season who knows, all I know is that if Wenger decides to stick with him there is nothing we can do about it and he undoubtedly plays much better with the crowd behind and and when he is confident.
Personally I think giving him stick at the start of next season will be cutting off our noses to spite our faces. If it meant Arsenal doing well I'd cheer bealzebub himself if he was in an Arsenal shirt
Anyone who claims to support wenger, then boos ade is a hypocrite. Keeping or selling ade will be one of the biggest decisions wenger has had to make since becoming manager, so if you want the manager to prove us doubters wrong then you would be best advised to back ade when the new season kicks off. Then judge him 6 or 7 weeks into the season, cos thats when people will start to judge wenger.
How can you say 'maybe he just had a bad season'???????
Jeez he only had 40 odd games to show us he cared, but we should really give him next season as well just to be sure that he is a lazy crunt and a mercenary who doesn't give a toss about our club!!
Santa Cruz has been injured a lot of the season, Ade has just been OFFSIDE for most of the season. My only hope is that Wenger is lying yet again....he was still saying Anelka would not be leaving Arsenal the day before he sold him......let's hope!!

Thing is sid, and I know that you have also been critical of wenger (just a small bit ) in the past, but in my opinion not selling that greedycunt is a major nail in wengers coffin. As has been said on here many many times, the very minimum fans should expect from their team/players is 100% effort and commitment and this *word censored* dont even come close Wenger showing loyalty to his players is an admirable thing but to show loyalty to a guy that is not returning your loyalty is suicidal and again I have to say that if wenger cannot see this guy for what he is then it is even more evidence that his judgement in the job has all but gone For the record I will also add that wenger should be judged from june 1st to see what is his intentions are cos there is no point in waiting until middle/end of september to wait for wenger to show where we are going
