Cesc set to leave :(

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I can't see it myself, it seems to me that journalists just reprint the same stories each summer.
If Cesc doesn't go this summer the same stories will appear next year. I've stopped worrying about these rumours.

we take 40mill and then what?, like we haven't learnt that the money goes straight into the bank and 3mill comes out for some player that is not ready.

Even if we sell him, I gurantee we dont get up to 40mill because our negotiators have lost their touch since the Overmars deal, just look at the Henry deal, he is a year younger than Sheva and yet he want for peanuts while Sheva was sold for 34mill!! :roll:

Some would argue there is little to be gained by putting up nonsense photo's on here but MrGnu has risen to Susan Boyle like heights on this forum doing that very thing. He will live forever in each one of us.

IF this is true and the figure of 40 mil is right then i can't see ARSENAL turning it down but i believe Nasri can easily fit into Cesc's position.
