Bye Bye Ronaldo

Cmon Spuddy - if you won the lottery you'd moan the cheque took 3 days to clear!

Seriously, we speak about our problems, he will be a massive loss to them. He will be replaced of course, but losing an established key player may have an effect and he has pulled them out the sh/t on numerous occassions.

Can see why he has gone, as won everything there is to win with ManUSA, im glad we dont have to watch that muppet huff and puff at every free kick now!!!

United will buy Ribery 100%.

Ronaldo is the best player in the world but he is still a twat.

Look for United to replace him with Ribery, who we could have bought for £17m 2 years agp and Benzama.
But Utd are going to miss Ronaldo"s goals

The only thing that can stop it from happening is if Ribery prefers Spain, Italy Chelsea or City....considering he choose Germany and Munchen last time I wouldn't be too surprised if he goes to City actually

I think this might well have something to do with the Glaziers debt repayments schedule. First tranche is imminent !

They might buy one replacement and if it's Riberary he's very good :( but equally, Bayern will bang the price up knowing Utd have that cash and the Mancs might baulk at the price.

They could simply use the money to cement Tevez at OT and otherwise - zilch

Is Ribery that good? I don't think I've ever seen him play an outstanding game - he certainly won't get 30 goals a season like Ronaldo did.

Ribery is one of the best players in the world and he would do a good job for them. Put it this way Ribery is better than any wide player we have and I am including Arshavin (even tho he is the best player in the world :barscarf: ) in that.

How fucking long!

What I really meant by my post was to look at the incredible contrast between the two deals. I know we're not talking about Manure spending £80m but think what they will buy to replace him. Having said that, you have to accept that they have a massive debt to finance. It is far from certain that rednose will get this money for new players.

Buying 16 year olds is about the future of the club. I totally accept that this is a good platform from which to run a club. After all, what is there to say we won't sell him in 10 years time for £80m? We might!
My concern is that we currently have a very real need to bring some quality into our first eleven. Can we afford to be spending what little money we have on kids?

Football Manager has finally become reality. 80mill what the hell!!. anyway thats 20-30goals and a couple of assists gone from Man.U and no one they buy can replace that.

On another note, Real need defenders and they may come for Clichy. Hope that fucking doesn't happen because I know we wont sign a replacement and neither Gibbs nor Traore are ready for a long season at LB.
