Oh and there is no "Scottish" language as such. They'd be speaking Scots or Lowland Scots (a Germanic rooted language spoken in Scotland and some parts of Ulster). Or it might have been Scottish Gaelic, a variation of the Celtic language or just Engerlish with a mad accent... :wink:
