Senderos has signed for Everton

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He was at the home ground today, obviously not playing and in civvies but there, seems a funny place to be if he'd just signed for the blue bindippers. Unfortunately, Eboue was on the pitch being, well........Eboue really  :banghead: Reports of us doing the deal of the century and getting 10 million for him are sadly premature to say the least :banghead:

If it turns out to be true then good luck to him - and to Everton, they might need it.

In all seriousness if there’s one team in the PL where I could see Big Phil having some kind of success it’s Everton. They’re usually very compact & defend as a team so he’s unlikely to be as exposed as he always was for us. And they’re one of those teams that look like they do a lot of work on defending (think Moyes was a CB in his playing days), which is obviously something he’ll never have had with us. I actually think it could be a good move for the guy.

Best wishes to big phil if this is true and I really mean that 8) He was a good guy who really cared for the club but sadly it hasnt worked out for him with us. I really think that if he puts the last few years behind him he will go on and have a really good career and I wouldnt write off his chances of joining a really big club again some day in the future.

Best of luck phil :barscarf:

 - Actually they are the type of girls I'm used to..........

To the 'substance' of this thread.........as indicated, Lescott to City........I did not see today's game but by all accounts we were / are far from impressive  ...............AGAIN.........

Either Wenger does something about our defence and specifically our midfield............Or we overtake Liverpool, even if City overtake us.............Or......we're flat on our backs and a busted flush come May..........as Fabregas packs his bags for Barcelona.........So it's over to you Arsene.........
