Pompey tickets - concessions in the upper tier!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It ain't just the squad, Wenger or us - The Fans - who are under pressure from the first whistle.

The Box Office have a HUGE task on their hands, offloading tickets even for the so called 'Biggies' let alone Portsmouth, Hull, Burnley and Blackburn.

Tough times are ahead - and I'm not just trying to play Cassandra here - for the course of this season. Depending on how we perform on the pitch, it might get easier. Equally, it could get worse.

This will apply for all other clubs as well - even the Manc dross, as their plastics wilt quicker than most.

Wenger talks about Football being hit by 'economic reality in 8 months' - it will hit a whole lot quicker than that.Spot the empty seats for the Portsmouth game and take it from there.
Yes, and he is not exempt from it either. He will see exactly what economic reality means when the club can not sell out the tickets, we finish outside of the top four, and the ridiculously high wage bill rockets up to over 60% of turnover. So much for the sustainable business model

Lets be realistic here and keep things in perspective, IF all proffessional football went bust it wouldn't be a bad thing would it?

Extortionatley over paid wankers would have to get real jobs, because it is the players/agents demands that are ruining football, nothing else.

Cut players wages dramatically, cut ticket prices dramatically end of.
IF all clubs did it, it would work but they won't.

The world will still turn without football and all you cnuts on this site might actually get time to work, while at work

And before you say it i work for myself so i am wasting my own time :?

I blame it ALL on Jimmy Hill
