I would suggest a mix of Absolut vodka and opium is closer to the mark if you think we are coming third!

I really don't expect us to drop out of the top 4 this season.

Although we clearly have a few issues with formation & personnel, I genuinely believe Arsenal will suprise a lot of people and have a good season.

I've gone for 3rd, but wherever we finish, I believe we'll put in a decent title challenge like 2007/08 and so the gap between us and the eventual champions (if not us  ) will be much less than last season's 22pts(?).

I think Villa and Everton had their chance to catch us last season, whereas Citeh may be a season too early to catch a much improved, focused Arsenal team 8)

I voted worse because if it does go "tits up" by christmas, then the heads will drop, AW will be gone and our decent players will be looking to the world cup and next season with a new club.

Strangely, as a realist with undertones of abject pessimism, I think we will finish 3rd but that depends on certain conditions out of our control.

If Citeh gel under Hughes they will finish top 4. If not they will be mid table. Alternatively if Hughes is sacked they may get in someone like Moron-hio and should finish top 4. This will impact on us and/or the Mousers for that 3rd or 4th spot, I think.

1. Chavs. I think the Chavs have the squad, the experience and the depth to win it (and yes I can taste vomit in my mouth as I type that).

2. Manure. Will struggle without Ladyboy's goals and Tevez's late game work rate but they have enough quality to mount a serious challenge.

3. Us. I'm fucking mad in the head. :-P Ok, if we keep everone fit ( :? ) we might snatch third mainly due to the mousers looking weaker and Citeh not delivering the goods. Big IF all round, I know!

4. Mousers. Will miss Alonso alot and with Torres and Gerrard now getting more injury prone by the day I think they will struggle without them. They are a two man team. They had their best chance last season and blew it. Benitez will never win the PL because he cannot think strategically, only tactically, and he often gets that wrong! He is a great cup manager at best.

5. Citeh, Everton or Villa. Who cares?

19. Tottingham Shitsplats. Please God, do this one for your old buddy, DB10. Please? 8)

I'm genuinely not sure what option to vote for. The optimism - yes, even I have bouts of that, albeit only occassionally!! - that I felt at the start of June, when I thought Wenger would finally rectify the problems most of us can see, has all but evaporated.

In my opinion not even the sale of Ade and the return to fitness (? :? ) of Rosicky and Eduardo can compensate for the failure to address the weaknesses we are still suffering from.

Although, given the current squad, I would be fairly content with a similar season to 2007/8 (with hopefully a better ending!!), if I'm honest, I now fear the worst and wouldn't at all be surprised if we finished 5th or lower.

4th, just, if we can get our act together, the fitness of Arshavin and Eduardo are crucial

I honestly don't feel City are that good yet, their squad is too unbalanced and full of money grabbing mercaneries **cough** Adebayor**cough cough**

They may perform early on when the media are fawning over them but we will see their true colours when they play Hull or someone away on a Tuesday night in November.

Villa and Everton will have a good go but their squads are too small,

as for Spurs.....ha! Redknapp will be gone by December.

That said 4th still isn't good enough for a club like ours
