Racing tip for tonight

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

probably finish nowhere...trainer doesn't want him looking too good, will finish out of it for a couple of races, improving his starting price before getting another win I reckon

I watched the race Teecee, it won pulling away, I reckon it'll get the 7f, it apparently used to race at 1m2F when the horse was with H Cencil, it's not beyond a horse (especially over sprints) to run up a sequence, but then, what do I know...

Guys, Just back from my weekend away with the Mrs (I was travelling while the race is on).

Pleased for those who managed to get on in time :barscarf:

For those that didn't :banghead: hopefully Saturday's result cheered you up!

Also - thanks for the offer of a pint or 2 (Franksav & Allgunsblazin). I drink in the Cannons before the home games so I'll have to keep the pint in the barrel for now.

If I get any more tips I'll be sure to pass them on (but they are not that regular)!

Hi Goose,

Do you mean the Cannon club across from the Gunners bar? I used to drink in there as a "guest" back in 02/03. Is Andy and his missus still running it? Many a very late night lock in we got in there after matches. 8) :barscarf:

My mate and I DJ'd for him one night (very pissed) and played nothing but Sabbath and Zeps from his vinyl collection. Quality. 8)

Hi DB10,
Thats the one (opposite the Gunners). Andy & his missus are still running it - nice people and they look after their regulars.

They let me bring my kids in when I can get them tickets and you don't have to wait ages to get a pint. So it's ideal for me.

Hi Allgunsblazin,

Yep it's the one opposite the gunners. I will be there about 1:15.

I'll pm you with contact details if you fancy meeting for a pint.

Regards

Goose
