Cesc out for tomorrow
If he is a doubt at all, then I would rather not risk him. The Cesc we saw at the start of last year when he was carrying knocks from Euro 2008 was a shadow of the previous season's version.
He admitted himself after his enforced lay off post Liverpool that he had needed the rest and to get his body back to normal
I know its an important game but we don't want to risk crocking him too soon. We've got Nasri, Rosicky, Diaby and Walcott to rely upon for niggling injuries for the rest of the season !!!

hehe, joking. actually a few words are different, but very few. let's say it's like a london man talking to a glasgow man.

In the long-term it may not be a bad thing.
If he played tomorrow he would HAVE to go with spain next week, now he can have a good fortnight rest before City away, and helping him in the future games - for a man of his ages the amount of football he has played is phenomenal.
Obviously we would all rather have him in for tomorrow, but I still think even without him we can make a good account of ourselves up there, CMON YOU GUNNERS!

Spot on, sublime one second, awful the next....often in the same game!rigsby wrote:I don't think its that HUGE. United midfield is shitter than ours imo, even without Cesc. With Denilson/Song playing how they've played I'm confident they can do well. We need a big performance from Diaby, the worlds most inconsistent player. But when he's good, he's fucking class
I still dont think he has what it takes to be an Arsenal player (that ankle break really hampered him to be fair) - but boy would I love him to shut me up with a stormer tomorrow!!
