New Rule

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How many does manU're have? Considering a lot of their "home grown" players will be due to retire very soon....and players like ferdinand, Rooney (?), Carracick etc can't be counted as "home grown".

No they do because they were at British clubs. They don't have to have trained at the clubs they currently play for.

I'm not so sure they would count, as the reports say "home grown players between the ages of 16 -21", surely that would rule out them guys.

Homegrown= players the played for 3 years before the age of 21 at any English club even if they are foreign.... Cesc is homegrown :?

Methinks this rule is fucking brilliant!

Even though i support an english team in the english league, i like any intiative which brings the PL a step back
Or something changes eg. Man citeh on the rise, changes the competition, its healthy
