No chance of Northbank/Clockend areas!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You'd have got a ticket for £26.50 about 7 years ago

Might even be in his Newcastle days but either way he was a big part of my teenage years and a big hero for me. Always remember going to Sheffield Utd in the Cup in 1978 and he got a magnificent hat trick but loads of other memories too. Shame his career was cut short.

There is a chance of NB/CE areas, if the club are pressured enough, question is, will us, the fans, be willing to apply the pressure?

Saw a "Where are they now" programme about him a few months ago. He had nothing but good to say about the Arsenal. 8)

The atmosphere problem we have can be easily sorted if the club got off their arses about it....

Have blocks 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 = NorthBank
24,25,26,27 = ClockEnd

*Move FE down 2 places so it goes down to block 32.

The capacity of my NB/CE is what ? 8,000?

There are roughly 40,000 season tickets holders (open to correction)
Now this is the hard part, swap season ticket seats the people who currently sit in these blocks, and who dont wanna sing,
With ST holders who are stuck in other areas, who DO want to sing.
We'd have around 5,000 ST holders who are vocal and are together thus they can sing w/o disturbance
Then the extra 3,000 seats obviously can be bought by Silver and Reds who DO like to sing

Also, the club could send a brochure to every member, with info about these new "singing sections"

Erm, I don't

So, you're saying you can't have ANY non-vocal fans behind either goal? So people who like the viewpoint behind the goal but do so in silence (not me, I might add) will be ejected for forced to a different (more expensive) part of the ground? I can see that working about as well as Arsenal's transfer policy in the last few years

Didn't the club say the post-Hillsbrough North bank would be a "singing stand" when it was designed, and attracted a load of ridicule? Fair enough, it was more vocal than the East and West stands, but there were still plenty of people who sat there in silence

In fairness, I think the cheese is likelier to be tougher when confronted with your idea
