McCarthy you're a disgrace

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tabloids are shit pseudo newspapers that play on the stupidity, ignorance and prejudice of the lowest common denominator. I'm proud to say that i never read the fucking things.

I'd love to see the sun or the mail when almunia becommes eligible to play for england and takes the number 1 jersey off robinson.

FOREIGNERS INFECT OUR NATIONAL TEAM

THE SUN SAYS:
DECLARE WAR ON SPAIN, IT'S THE ONLY LANGUAGE THEY UNDERSTAND

tabloid journos string 'em all up and send them back where they came from that's what i say.

The red tops have always hated us. Even when they were forced to praise our great footy over the last 10 years they always qualified it by mentioning "the old boring Arsenal", they could never just pay the f*cking compliment and leave it at that.

F*ck them...

We are Arsenal... Pride of London. 8)

I know for a fact, because I made a point of finding out via various ways, that most football journalists are West Ham, Spurs or Man Utd fans!! :x

If you add the fact that Sky were pissed off that we sided with ITV rather than them during the early television contracts negotiations, then you have your reasons why most of the media hate us!! :x

And this is despite the fact they admit that Wenger has Arsenal playing the best football they have ever seen!! Imagine how hard they would be on us if George Graham or someone of his ilk was still in charge?

I read the Daily star as the sun is crap so is the mirror maybe we as gooners Should all have a ban on The Sun! much the same way as the scousers do! there over 200,000 gooners in England that should effect there sales if we all stick together

Never has the word oxymoron (look it up in the dictionary) been more appropriate than when the words Daily Star and newspaper are mentioned in the same breath.

Is this what oxymoron means??
A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist. :?

Yes my friend. Aren't dictionarys a wonderful invention? How can you be mournful and optomistic at the same time? :?

Although, you can be mournful about not being an optomist - like some of us who worry about how Arsenal will get on this season are!!
