AND IRELAND WILL PLAY........

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This whole 'lets seed the draw' at the last minute is another example of Blatter and Platini fixing football. Has it ever been seeded before?

Ireland will still go through though ...

I think we might have had a chance if we were home second leg. It will be dificult going to Paris second. Still, you never know! Should be good craic in Paris!! Might even come out of "international retirement" for this one... 8)

I was thinking the opposite! I reckon that if we could get a decent result at home we could go there and play a defensive type game and hopefully keep it 0-0 there for at least an hour. I think the French fans would then be getting anxious and the players might too.

If we were playing in Paris first the tie could well be over after that game. I couldn't see us getting 2 or 3 at home.

Ireland will go through.

The seeding of the draw was complete bullshit though.

I think they have seeded it before, but never decided to o so a few weeks beforehand - when they know some big teams will be in it.

Its so frustrating that they can get away with such blatant bias, unfortunately money talks and I wouldn't be surprised if its corrupted people right up to the very top of the game
