ALE AT ARSENAL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd suggest heading into the cornershop on Drayton Park next door to the pub if you're around that way, pick up a couple of tins before, finish them outside and head in, get a pint at half time and its managable. But yeah, the beer is pretty shite at The Grove

When you come over stay in the boozer of your choice as late as possible then go to the ground. The beer at Ashburton is made from flood water.

As for being bored at work its the same for me today.Just waitng for tonight"s game.Come on you Gooners
so so bored,, wont even get 2 see the match 2nite,, will hav 2 listen on radio,,, as for stayin in the boozer,, we always get a late pint in the pins,, shes always nice 2 us paddies
The bar staff in the Pins are second to none Rebel, the only pub where you can get served quickly when the place is packed to the rafters, especially if they recognise you as a regular. They seem to be able to serve about four different people at once, remembering the rounds, the price and giving change all at the same time. I've never seen anything like it, is it an Irish thing? Amazing. As for beer in the ground, only if I'm really desperate :?

I do have to say that I sampled Club Level fot the first time at The Emirates Cup games and I have to say I was disappointed to find no prostitutes alive or dead and certainly no mention of an anal champagne quaffing area!

What exactly did I pay the premium on the tickets for can someone tell me?

Cmon Arsenal sort it out!

Don't bother smuggling beer but a friend alway has a couple of hip flasks with some scotch or vodka, mix with coke at half time and who needs the watered down, overpriced piss they sell in the ground

I think it might be an Irish thing. The bars in Dublin get mad crowded. I've seen them nine deep at the bar and the barperson serving three or four people at once. Maybe continually working in such a high pressure atmosphere hones their game? 8)

I was talking to the main bar woman after the Fulham game and she said they actually enjoy it when it's packed like that. Me? I think I'd have a nervous breakdown  I think I've been in pubs where I've been the only person in there and it took longer to get served than it does in the Pins on a match day.
