I Love Hleb (2)

man of the match for me was definetly Sagna. Solid as a rock on the back plus set up the second goal. He has a big future at Arsenal.

Hleb played great again! Oh..didn't a select few of this forum warn you all?

Eboue: Shit in my opinion

Sagna: Great

Song: ........yes....well.....

RVP: Still not at his best? Lone striker doesn't seem to suit him.

Clichy: Well done again.

Hoorah for the hlebster ... ILH ... and he is only going to get better as his confidence improves ... goes to show that some of us were correct in assessing that Th14 had a huge negative impact on him ...

I was one of those that pointed that out and I stand by it. THBW14 had a huge negative impact on not just Hlebby but the whole squad over the last 2 seasons.

What is significant is that since THBW14 left we have really reduced the amount of times that we over-pass the ball by twenty passes (in search of the mythical perfect goal), and increased our shot ratio. I think we've had as many shots so far this season as we did in all of last season!!

Don't get me wrong, we still do over-pass the ball but no where near as much as last season; we're just still shaking off the THBW14 hangover.

Also, THBW14 at his peak was a great great player, a legend, our best player after DB10 8) but THBW14 was pretty sh*te for the last year and a bit (once he lost his motivation and started picking up niggling injuries) and I think unloading him may just prove to be another Wenger masterstroke. 8)

Without the French Pout glaring at him every two seconds, Hleb WILL be better this season, but by exactly how much I'm not too sure... :?

agree wit that db10,, th14 kept a lot of players from expressing themselfs so hopefully this season will bring them out a bit more,, well done hleb but dont rest on your laurels just yet

hleb ws good last night. but i do not think that it's our best attacking option. if it was bendner (not Ade) then hleb would do well to play there. but overall i think he is cramping the style of both Cesc and RVP.

We didn't wilt under some blatant fouling, Lehman made two great saves, our defence was a lot more solid then against Fulham. Not our best performance but a big night and a good win to get, two wonderful goals.
